This release is the first tranche of unresolved UAP records under President Trump's directive that the Department of War, ODNI, and partner agencies declassify the federal government's UAP holdings on a rolling basis. "Unresolved" means the government cannot definitively identify the phenomenon — these are the cases that survived their own analytical sieve.

I downloaded **128 of 133 non-video files**. Skipped: 28 videos (hosted on DVIDS, separate platform), and 1 malformed manifest URL. Coverage of the textual record is effectively complete.

**Watch these six PDFs before anything else:**

Seven federal LE agents over two days in 2023 witness "**orbs launching orbs**", a fiery orange orb apparently tethered to a rock pinnacle, a "**Dark Kite**" gliding 2-3 ft off the ground with zero resistance, and a "**Transparent Kite**" that occluded a spotlight beam mid-air. AARO independently re-rated the orb at ~1,050 m / 12-18 m diameter. Quote (USPER5, Transparent Kite): *"my beam went from shining far into the distance to stopping about 50 yards away on nothing in particular."*

2. **[`usper-statement-redacted.pdf`](https://files.nicho.wtf/ufo-release-01/usper-statement-redacted.pdf)** — `SECRET//NOFORN` first-person timeline by a senior intel official, 2025, US military facility. FLIR-tracked "super-hot" orb hovering at ground level **splits into two**, ~10 ft close approach to a helicopter, coordinated formation flare-ups, and orbs apparently breaking off to **pursue military training aircraft**. The single most striking modern document in the release.

One of these persons seemed to turn and look straight at my car and seemed startled — seemed to quickly jump somewhat."* Byrnes specifically vouches for Zamora as *"not given to fantasy."*

DROP ALTITUDE AND SAFELY PASS THEIR AIRCRAFT WHILE CONSISTANTLY MAINTAINING ~424KN"* — paced a US aircraft for 7 minutes.

## Cross-document patterns worth pulling on

- **The Western U.S. cluster.** Three documents likely orbit the same evidentiary set: the [FBI photo b-series](https://files.nicho.wtf/ufo-release-01/fbi-photo-b1.pdf) (24-frame EO/IR sequence resolving from a single dot into a tight pair, helicopter visible in early frames, manifest-dated Late 2025), the [USPER `SECRET//NOFORN` 2025 statement](https://files.nicho.wtf/ufo-release-01/usper-statement-redacted.pdf), and possibly the [composite sketch](https://files.nicho.wtf/ufo-release-01/2024-04-30-composite-sketch.pdf) (Sep 2023) and [western_us_event_slides](https://files.nicho.wtf/ufo-release-01/western_us_event_slides_5.08.2026.pdf) (2023 events). The slide deck explicitly references AARO follow-up; the photo set is unattributed but the morphology (paired tic-tac-like silhouette near a helicopter) lines up with the slides' "Dark Kite / Transparent Kite" descriptions.
- **CENTCOM AOR saturation, summer-fall 2020.** 482 ATKS alone produced six MISREPs over Iranian airspace (D60-D65) — repeatedly bundling UAP observations with Iranian Air Defense guard calls. D62 has 38 minutes of unexplained data-link EMI on the same sortie. D65 logged **three separate UAP events on a single sortie**.
- **Triangular metallic UAP recur.** D54 (Mediterranean) has the bluntest description in the release; D51 has the civilian-witness blue triangle near a U.S. national security facility. Worth comparing to historical triangle reports cataloged in the FBI Sub-A scrapbook.
- **Sensor-only visibility.** D25 (SWIR-only diamond) and D19 (visible/IR but **no radar**) hint at materials/coatings asymmetric to standard military sensors. D23 and D44 add a counter-pattern — objects appearing **cold** on IR rather than hot.
- **The redaction signal.** D54 and D60-D65 are heavily 1.4(a)-redacted on units, ATO numbers, and operations — but the UAP narrative blocks are preserved untouched. The Bureau can be quite specific when describing the unidentified part; the identifying parts are what stay sealed.
- **The 1964 Socorro / 1958 Carl Jung axis.** Two of the most striking quotes in the historical material come from witnesses with strong credibility kickers — Officer Zamora (vouched-for by FBI as "not given to fantasy") and Carl Jung (publicly endorsing UAP in AP 1958). If you want to argue the FBI took this seriously rather than treating it as kook material, these two records are the strongest evidence.
- **The 1949 charter document** — [FBI Serial 164](https://files.nicho.wtf/ufo-release-01/65_hs1-834228961_62-hq-83894_serial_164.pdf), USAF Air Intelligence Requirements Memorandum No. 4, 15 Feb 1949 — is the foundational doctrinal record routing all "Flying Disc" reports to AMC Wright-Patterson MCIAXO-3. It's the bureaucratic origin point for what would later become Project Sign / Grudge / Blue Book.

## What's NOT in this report

- **Section 6 of the FBI core file** (370 MB scan) finished downloading after the analysis batch ran. Given the contents of sections 1-5/7-10 it's probably more 1947-era flying-disc correspondence; happy to spin up a focused read on it.
- **The 28 DVIDS-hosted videos** — skipped per your call. They're the actual UAP footage clips; the manifest gives DVIDS Video IDs (e.g., 1006119 for Apollo 12 audio, 1006073 for Greece Jan 2024) so you can pull them from `dvidshub.net` directly if interesting.
- **Three misfiled DOS cables** in the USAF batch (Georgia 2001, Turkmenistan 2004, Mexico 2023) and **one structurally corrupt scan** (`38_143685_box7_incident_summaries_1-100.pdf` — bad xref) and **one byte-identical duplicate** (`59_214434_sp_16_[7.18.1963].pdf`).
